Managing complex development programs

Rova specializes in building advanced batteries with extensive requirements. Rova uses formal NPI methodology, enhanced by capabilities in simulation, validation and certification, to deliver complex projects on time.

Simulation

Simulating failure modes

For complex design programs, Rova can run thermal, mechanical, and cycle life simulations on your pack to test designs before prototyping or production.

Validation

Independent validation testing

To ensure your battery works as required, Rova can develop a comprehensive test plan around your robot use case and run the validation tests at third-party labs.

Certification

Regulatory compliance

Rova’s packs can be certified to any of the major global battery certifications, including UN 38.3, UL 2580 / UL 2271, IEC 62133 / IEC 62619, and BIS certification (IS 16046).

NPI project management

For complex battery development programs, Rova manages a structured NPI program aligned with your robot’s own development cycle. Rova tracks the master plan carefully to minimize surprises and ensure successful program execution.
